Qasr-e Shirin may screen in Nowruz

Iranian Fajr Film Festival contender ‘Qasr-e Shirin’ might appear on silver screen during Nowruz.

Reports say that the distributor of Reza Mirkarimi’s flick is trying to get the permission for New Year screening.

The social drama narrates the story of Jalal who kills a family in an accident. Once out of prison, he leaves his own family for another city.

Two years later, Jalal returns to his city, following the news of his wife’s brain death.

Hamed Behdad who is a familiar face to ifilm spectators owing to 'The Fourth Child', 'The Third Day', 'Free Fall', 'The Orange Suit', and 'My Sky' stars in Mirkarimi’s new project.

Also among the cast are Mohammad Asgari, Zhila Shahi, Akbar Ayin, Azadeh Nobahar, Mohammad Ashkanfar, Youna Tadayyon and Niyousha Alipour.

Arash Qasemi, an Iranian sound engineer, has designed the sound for ‘Qasr-e Shirin’.
